Did you know that…?
• When crushing garlic, you only need to add a little bit of salt to prevent them from coming out of the mortar.
• If you take out the greenish internal part of the garlic, it is not too strong.
• If you cut garlic, it is normal that you cannot get rid of the smell. Place your hands under the cold water stream without rubbing them, just wetting them. When you dry them you will realise that the smell is less intense and it soon vanishes.
• If you want an excellent oil to dress salads, vegetables or pizzas, choose a good oil, which is the most important thing, add fresh rosemary and a couple of unpeeled garlic. Leave it macerating for 15 days and ready! It’s delicious and if you like it hot just add a couple of chilli peppers. |
